Today marks exactly two months since our home state of California issued the first Stay at Home Order, and life certainly looks different than it did before. Some things have been incredibly difficult, like suddenly working from home (or trying to), homeschooling children, loss of income and stability, and the inability to see our loved ones in a time of need. We have also seen some amazing kindness, creativity and resourcefulness from our communities, both local and online.
While the closure was hard for our small family business, we strongly believed in doing our part to ensure the safety of our community by abiding by the orders. Now that these orders are lifting, we are pleased to announce that we will begin taking orders and shipping on Monday, June 1, 2020. As we re-open, we have a continued commitment to safety, and would like to share the following:
All items will be handled hygienically; Pieces will be handled with freshly washed hands and shipments prepared on a disinfected surface with new packing materials.
For customers who are not comfortable receiving shipments, we are happy to hold purchases until a later date of your choosing.
We will implement a rotating schedule that allows us to virtually eliminate contact between employees, making sure that Joseff remains a “safe zone.”
Layaway is always an option! For those customers who have been affected by this virus financially, please know that we will extend your current layaway deadlines and are willing to allow extra time even for new purchases.
